As we touched down at the Belfast airport the first thing I saw was Ikea.  It made me feel a little more at home right from the beginning.  We stayed at the Hilton. Wow, what an upgrade in living accommodations!  They were having a market just down the street from our Hotel, so we went there for lunch.  Benae and I found this great place that made gourmet quiche.  I had a chicken and broccoli one.  It was so filling and delicious! I also got a Toblerone milk shake!  Yum. The market atmosphere is so enjoyable.  I love looking at all the different booths to see what they have to share.  The booth I liked most sold wooden puzzles that make up shapes like there was a giraffe and the world.  It was cool.  We took a tour after going to the market.  We heard a lot about the troubles.  There is a wall in Belfast where it divided the two groups and it is called the peace wall.  People write all over the wall their feelings and such.  It is cool to see how the wall has transformed from a bad thing to a good thing.  The end portion of our tour was information and significant places associated with the titanic.  I had no idea, but the Titanic was built and launched out of Belfast.  Seeing were it was actually built was amazing.  It was interesting to actually see the scale in person.  We decided to fully experience the culture of Ireland we would go to a pub to get food.  The food was really good, even if I got chicken strips and not something authentic to Ireland.  Interesting fact.  You can use England's pounds in Ireland, but you can't use Irish pounds in England.
