The day started out amazingly. I got to use a blow dryer for the first time in two and a half weeks and we had a buffet of food to choose from for breakfast. It was wonderful. Our day was packed with wonderful things. Ray our tour guide was with us for around nine hours and told us lots of great information about Ireland. We started out at the castle then headed to the coast then to the rope bride, causeways, and home. Well at least those were the main events of the day. The rope bridge is from mainland to an island. It is super windy there! I mean we had been dealing with wind all day, but when you get on the bridge the wind seems ten times worse. It was fun to venture to this island. The grass was thick and semi squishy, which was interesting. The view was breathtakingly beautiful! I could sit on that little island for hours just taking in the view. The causeways were amazing. All of the rocks I guess you would call them are hexagonal shape at varying heights. I loved climbing around on them. I want some installed in my back yard when I have a back yard of my own. There were two colors of rock; black and a lighter brown. I loved the contrasting color between the black rock and vibrant green seaweed. The sand was also interesting. Unlike any I have seen before. We were lucky to have a mostly rain free day. It started raining on our way back to the bus from the causeway. This was one of my favorite days so far. I love the countryside of Ireland.
